ReplyDeleteHello, I’m Piljun Kim. I found this news article today morning from the financial times. The Financial Times interviewed Takehiko Nakao, head of the ADB, about the AIIB. I like to share this news story because Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is not only economical issue but also political issue in the world. Asian Development Bank (ADB) and AIIB has same purpose, invests in Asia-Pacific developing countries, but ADB led by United States and AIIB led by China. Through the AIIB issues, we can think how this will change the relationship between U.S., China and other countries in the world, and how Asian market will grow in future. Since we are now studied about Politics and Economics, it is perfect topic to discuss.
Hi, this is Wataru Matsumoto. I would like you to share the news about Climate change;Scientists asked world leaders to sign up to an eight-point plan of action for slowing it down.
ReplyDeleteI am interested in diving and I am worrried about people who are living in coasts or islands.
I don`t want a lot of countries to sink into the sea because seascapes of there are very beautiful and there should be preserved.
So, I support this plan.
I was sympathized the sentence "We're all in this together - we share one planet, we share one atmosphere, we share one climate system."
This planet is for not only sinking people but also us.
We have to cooporate with all people to save the Earth .

ReplyDeleteHi,I'm LI HAOJUN. The American space transport services company SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 rocket and the cargo ship Dragon on April 14,2015,carried 4300 pounds of supplies to the International Space Station. The reason I think this news is worth to share is that the SpaceX tried to used a single rocket engine to land the first stage of Falcon 9 rocket on a barge after jettisoned form the 2ed stage. Unfortunately the 1st stage rocket did touched down on the surface of the barge but felled down and exploded because of the horizontal velocity is a little bit high. And the new video uploaded by SpaceX shows exactly what happened.

Hi my name is Takemasa Yui. I am interested in a news which is about the contradiction that lies behind the World bank`s project. The project is named forest conservation program and this take part in western Kenya。The content of the project is not really important now but what I want to tell is that because of this program, indigenous people had been remove away. World bank`s commitment is “DO NO HARM”. Actually they are doing harm. Many people have lost their home. We have to know that although it looks good from the front (this time the project to protect nature), it doesn`t mean it looks good on the back (people forced to move from home) as well.

ReplyDeleteHello, this is Yuri Shirakura. I would like to share an article from Nikkei about housework and childcare. This article says that proportion of man who do housework is low. This shows working woman bear much more burden than working man. In addition, babies under the age of one are most murdered in the number of deaths from being murdered. One of the reasons for this is woman are forced to raise their child alone, so that they feel strongly stressed.
I chose this article because i think housework and childcare should be shared. But many people think they are woman's job. I believe that woman should continue to work after raising their children because of the lack of working people whose age are between sixteen and sixty four. I want people to think about this problem and help each other.

ReplyDeleteHello, this is JaeHong Chun. I would like to introduce one issue in South Korea, about salvage of Sewol ferry. As everybody knows, about 300 people were drowned for this disaster last year. On Apr. 11th, South Korean president, Keun-Hye Park, said "Sewol ferry is going to be raised as soon as possible" at the presidential speech. It may seem natural process from the view of victims' families, but many people strongly disagree with it for 2 common reasons below.
Firstly, it is too late to raise the Sewol ferry. People say the government should have took action more quickly and there is no meaning of raising it now.
Secondly, it costs too much. The experts expects it would take 200 billion won ($184 million) to finish the work. Recently, South Korea is low on financial condition and a lot of money was already provided to families as compensation.
I am also one of them who disagree. So I want to ask everyone that If this happened in your country, what position would you stand for? Agree or disagree? and why?
